Another New 100,000mt UHP Graphite Electrodes Construction Project Start in Jialong Carbon

As one of the key construction projects in Linzhou City, Jialong Carbon another new 100,000-ton ultra-high power graphite electrode project has commenced construction. By the end of 2021, the annual production capacity will reach 200,000 tons. This marks JLXCL's entry into the ranks of the top three graphite electrode producers in the Chinese market.

Graphite electrode prices in October 2020 rose due to rising raw material costs

Affected by the rising cost of calcined petroleum coke, the price of graphite electrodes in the current Chinese market rose by about US$100 per ton year-on-year at the end of last month. Due to no improvement in domestic and foreign procurement demand, the price of graphite electrodes is expected to remain stable next week.
